Cranberry International School is a licensed international school under the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), Ministry of Education, Thailand. Our curriculum is fully approved by the Ministry of Education and follows internationally recognized academic standards to ensure that students receive a high-quality, globally aligned education.
At the Kindergarten level, U.S. early years standards are applied with a focus on holistic development—physical, cognitive, emotional, and social—through theme-based and play-based learning experiences that prepare young learners for future academic success.
For the core learning areas (English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science) we follow the U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the U.S. Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These standards provide clear learning progressions, strong academic foundations, and internationally benchmarked expectations for student achievement. We also teach Thai Language, Culture, and History based on the Ministry of Education’s Curriculum for Thai Language and Culture for International Schools.

Our academic curriculum is complemented by Learner Development Activities at every level, designed to facilitate whole-child development and support our students as they grow into confident and competent young people.
In Nursery and Kindergarten, our curriculum has dedicated time for playing, reading, and exploring the world around us. Our students learn by doing, and participate in hands-on learning activties to build their skills and understanding.
Beginning from Kindergarten 1, students additionally learn Chinese as a supplementary language to enhance global communication skills.
In the Primary grades, students study Music each week with skilled local instructors. With one term dedicated to dance instruction, students develop basic skills in music and movement.
To support personalized learning and monitor academic progress, Cranberry International School uses the MAP Growth Assessment (Measures of Academic Progress), an internationally trusted tool widely used by American and international schools. Administered three times per year, MAP Data helps students, teachers, and parents measure academic growth and achievement throughout a student's career.
Because MAP is adaptive, it adjusts to each child’s performance, giving a precise picture of their strengths and areas for improvement. This helps us ensure that every student is learning at the right level and moving forward with confidence.
MAP Growth provides:
✓ Accurate measurement of each student’s learning level
✓ Data to track growth over time
✓ Insights that help teachers tailor instruction
✓ Clear reports for parents on academic progress
✓ Alignment with Common Core and international standards
